THE OVERVIEW

Golf Club Gut Laerchenhof, Pulheim, Germany - The European Tour this week is stopping at Gof Club Gut Laerchenhof, the only Jack Nicklaus designed course in Germany. Gut Laerenchof is a parkland style track with generous fairways and few trees. The track this week will play as a 7,229-yard par 72. All four of the course's par 5s should be easily reachable in two and if the wind stays down, this week could turn into an absolute birdie fest.

Past winners here have ranked near the top for the event in GIR. So, while many may be looking to pick out the bombers in the field, we'll also be looking for SG: Approach and GIR studs.

THE 'FORE' SOMES

'FORE' SOMES are chosen by selecting one player from a "low tier" betting pool (30:1 or better), two players from a "mid tier" (30:1 - 75:1), and a final player from a "high tier" (75:1 & up).

KEITH'S 'FORE' SOME

Andy Sullivan  (14:1).  Sullivan is one of only two names in this top tier that did not have to fly back across the Atlantic after finishing at the U.S. Open. His current form is rather strong, but he hasn't won on the Euro Tour for a few year. A bit of a risky pick, but Sullivan could win this week.

Lucas Bjerregaard  (33:1)  & Chris Paisley  (40:1).  Bjerregaard is playing great of late and with big fairways he can put himself in nice spots to go seeking with his currently hot iron play. A favorite this week by many and for good reason. Chris Paisley is having a great year and is one of the best putters in this field. Finished runner up in this event in 2015 albeit at a different track. Still, I really like the chances of a fiery Chris Paisley to be in contention come Sunday.

Andrea Pavan  (80:1).  Pavan just ranks extremely well in the model for this event. Currently gaining .75 strokes Putting and 1.2 strokes on Approach. Pavan might have a really good week in Germany.  (Also lots of bomb names to like, Renato Paratore at 150:1 really caught my eye. Perhaps a great Top 10 play.)

**(differing odds come from Will Hill)

JOHN'S 'FORE' SOME

Tommy Fleetwood  7.5:1

Jacque Kruyswijk  66:1

Lorenzo Gagli  66:1

Phachara Khongwatmai  200:1

GAVIN'S 'FORE' SOME

Sergio Garcia  14:1

Mike Lorenzo-Vera  33:1

Alexander Bjork  35:1

Raphael Jacquelin  125:1
