Sheshan International Golf Club, Shanghai, China  - Often cited as one of the best golf courses in all of China, Sheshan International Golf Club features big valleys and rolling, tree-lined fairways combined with a bunch of water in play.

This week the course will play as a 7,266-yard par 72 and should be a pure birdie fest with the winning aggregate score less than 20 under.

When selecting players this week, I’ll be looking at current form, course history, Birdie or Better Percentage, SG: Off the Tee, GIR, and SG:Putting.

'FORE' SOMES are chosen by selecting one player from a "low tier" betting pool (30:1 or better), two players from a "mid tier" (30:1 - 75:1), and a final player from a "high tier" (75:1 & up).

Jason Day  (18:1).  Any of the four names ahead of Day can win and any of the six names after him can win. However, I have a good feeling about Jason Day this week in Shanghai. T5 last week and he even missed a couple of approaches. #1 in SG:Putting. Give me Jason Day.

Paul Casey  (33:1)   &  Cameron Smith  (40:1).  Only twelve names to choose from in this range. I also like Adam Scott and Matthew Fitzpatrick, but I like Paul Casey and Cameron Smith more.

Casey has finished no worse than 18th in his last three starts. and he’s played at Sheshan the past three consecutive years, improving in finishes each year. I like where Casey’s game is at and think he might be able to tear this track up this week.

Cameron Smith is just too good not to pick here. It’s been a few years since his 64th place finish in 2015, and he is a totally different player now. Solid play last week in South Korea. He likes Asia and plays well here. His game is nearing top-tier PGA level. I want to be on him when he gets his next big win.

Hao Tong Li  (80:1).  This range is crazy tough to pick this week. So much talent. Kyle Stanley looks good. Matt Wallace looks good. Keegan Bradley looks good. I really want to take Byeong Hun An….but, I’m taking a wild stab at Hao Tong Li.

Even in this field, I’m not sure Hao Tong should be at 80:1. He’s coming off two Euro Tour top ten finishes and you know he wants to show well in China. I dig him. I hope he strikes fire this week. Book it.
