East Lake Golf Club, Atlanta, Georgia  - The PGA Tour is making its final stop for the Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia. The final 30 players in the FedEx Standings are on hand to see who will take the big prize. The course is famous for its associations with Donald Ross and Bobby Jones and this week it will play as a 7,385 par 70. Damn.

It’s a mostly-straight, tree-lined parkland style layout with average width fairways, bermuda greens with runoff areas, and a little bit of water in play. The pros this week should be able to use all of their length off of the tees and scores should be super low.

This event has been played here since 2004, so there is a bunch of history to dig through (if you are keen to do so). We’ll be looking at approach stats and putting, but will ultimately be going with our guts on this one. Whatever happens, it is sure to be a fun stamp on an already extraordinary year.

'FORE' SOMES are chosen by selecting one player from a "low tier" betting pool (30:1 or better), two players from a "mid tier" (30:1 - 75:1), and a final player from a "high tier" (75:1 & up).

Tommy Fleetwood  (25:1).  If your first instinct is to say I am out of my mind for fading the top 12 names, you are correct. However, my favorite name among those is Justin Rose and 9:1 just isn’t a number I can get excited about. Molinari is tempting at 25, but I have been feeling a huge week from Tommy Fleetwood for some time now and I am going to ride him out. The 27-year-old Brit fired back-to-back 62s at the BMW Championship and damn near won the U.S. Open. He is due for a PGA win and this would be the perfect place for it.

Paul Casey (40:1)  &  Gary Woodland  (50:1).  Both Paul Casey and Gary Woodland like and know East Lake.

In his four appearances here, Paul Casey has finished no worse than fifth. In the last three years he’s placed 5th, 4th, and 5th. Course history heavy, yes, but...what’s not to love about that.

Gary Woodland also likes it here. And he’s been playing a little better since a mid-year slump. This is course where he can shine and a big finish would be a fantastic cap on a successful year.

Kevin Na  (80:1).  There’s only three names to choose from here, and Na gets the nod. He’s played here a lot and won just 10 weeks ago. At 80:1, I’ll take it.
